Artist Claude Reynier, awarded top honours by “l’Ecole des Beaux Arts de Montpellier” in 1964, now lives and works by the Mediterranean, in Palavas-les-Flots.

Visitors can view, and buy, his paintings by visiting his studio in Palavas-les-Flots and the new studio in Margon, near Pézenas.

In addition to the time spent painting and drawing in his studio, for over 20 years Claude Reynier has run art classes for students in Castelnau-le-Lez, Saint Gély-du-Fesc, Montpellier and Palavas-les-Flots. During the courses, students learn the techniques of working with pencil, charcoal, watercolours and oil.

Always well attended, the courses have gained a remarkable reputation for teaching people the skills of drawing and painting.

Palavas-Les-Flots (photo right)
For the past 24 years Claude Reynier has worked in his studio in Palavas, and is well known as “THE painter of Palavas-les-Flots”. During the time in Palavas, Claude has worked closely with an association that brings together people with the same passion for art. The Association comprises beginners and experienced with a diversity of talents, and the aim is to encourage everyone to extend their skills.

During the summer months Claude Reynier lives and works at his new studio in Margon, a historic and picturesque village close to Pézenas.
It is here that Claude also holds art classes, open to the public, and attracts people of all ages and experiences.
