Claude
Reynier holds art classes and Summer Workshops for people
with all levels of experience, from beginners to professional.
All drawing and painting techniques are covered –
oil, watercolours, acrylic, gouache, charcoal, pastel...
The classes are held outside, where the techniques of perspective
are shown, and inside, with still-life classes. Students
learn how to bring watercolours to life, to draw the correct
perspective outlines in charcoal or pencil, to visualise
the subject in relation to the canvas, how to put that final
finishing touch to the oil painting, and more. Learning
all the techniques with Claude Reynier mean that students
who attend the Summer Workshop will leave with a much improved
set of artistic skills.

At
the end of the course, the students take with them two paintings
that they have created during the week, together with a
Certificate of Attendance at the Claude Reynier Summer Workshop.
The Workshops are held in Margon, a picturesque historical
village, situated about 6 miles from Pézenas and
18 miles from the Mediterranean.
The Summer Workshop is a five-day course, Monday to Friday,
with the possibility to add a further five days, space permitting.
Times are 9.00am-12 noon and 3.00pm-6.00pm. This schedule
may be changed at the request of students. |

cost of the course for the 5 days is 350 euros

tuition by the artist Claude Reynier during each

Each weekly Summer
Workshop is limited to 5 people. This ensures
the artist Claude Reynier can devote maximum time
and individual personal tutoring to each student. |

At the end of the
Summer Workshop, students will take with them
two paintings that they have created during the
week, together with a Certificate of Attendance
at the Claude Reynier Summer Workshop. |
|
Students have the
choice to either bring their own materials (paper,
canvas, pencils, paints…) or to rent it
from the Studio at a cost of 40 euros per person.
Canvases are on sale in the Studio at 10 euros
each, maximum 2 canvases per person. |

Activities
With some free time during the course
students can visit the nearby Mediterranean
beaches, or visit local wine domains
and sample their excellent wines,
visit Pézenas and discover
the history behind this famous town.
During summer months there is of course
the chance to be involved in the many
summer festivals held in every village,
including Margon. |

General Conditions
for Reservations
Booking, Deposit, Cancellation
If you book your place on the Summer Workshop
more than 6 weeks before the course starts,
then you need to send a cheque for 40% of the
total costs of the Workshop and Accommodation.
The balance should be sent at least 6 weeks
before the course starts.

| The
artist will contact you to confirm that your
cheque has arrived and will confirm your reservation.
|
If
you book your place less than 6 weeks before
the course starts then you need to send a cheque
for the full amount to cover the cost of the
course and the accommodation.
Bookings may be made by telephone,
but if a payment is not received within 8 days
then the reservation will be considered cancelled.
Cancellation
If you cancel your attendance at the course
more than 6 weeks before the course starts then
the deposit will be repaid. There can be no
repayment if the cancellation is made less than
6 weeks before the course starts.
